Disbelief and Lack of Support for Covid-19 Long-haulers
Five months in to the Covid-19 Pandemic in the United States, we are now hearing about the long term effects the virus is causing in patients. This goes against everything we were told in the beginning. Initially, we were told that the virus would run its course and we would be okay in fourteen days. Two days ago, the CDC announced that 1/3 of non-hospitalized patients were experiencing long term illness. For long-haulers, this message could have come sooner, but they are happy their push for awareness is finally making waves.

Having support in your life is important. Most people depend on their friends and family for this. Right now, many long-haulers are finding their support…
